Liar Liar Storyline

The truth shall set you free -- or get you into a heap of trouble! Fletcher Reede (Carrey) is a fast-talking attorney and habitual liar. When his son Max (Justin Cooper) blows out the candles on his fifth birthday cake, he has just one wish -- that his dad will stop lying for 24 hours. When Max's wish miraculously comes true, Fletcher discovers that his biggest asset -- his mouth -- has suddenly become his biggest liability! Havoc ensues as Fletcher tries to keep his practice afloat and his ex-wife Audrey (Maura Tierney) from taking their son and moving to Boston. Co-starring Jennifer Tilly, Swoosie Kurtz, Amanda Donohoe and Cary Elwes.

Liar Liar goofs

CONT: Max's seatbelt when in the car with Audrey.
SYNC: When Fletcher gets his car towed and arrives at his wife's house in a taxi, he throws cash at the driver from the back seat. The sound does not match the throwing of the cash.
CONT: When Fletcher tore his blazer on his left shoulder, his hand went forward, but the rip went backwards. Later outside and back to court, his shoulder pad was out. When he ripped it in the bathroom, it was a small rip and not a big rip.
FACT: When Kenneth Falk is called to the stand, he simply gets up and walks to the stand. However, if a witness is to be called to the stand, they must be called in from outside the courtroom. Witnesses are not supposed to sit in and watch the prosecutions because that may mar their answers.
CONT: When Fletcher goes to the bathroom to beat himself up, he is clearly wearing a different suit than in the courtroom.
